Crossbridge Energy A/S owns and operates the refinery in Fredericia as well as a sales and raw material purchasing department in Copenhagen. In Denmark, the company employs just over 240 competent and motivated employees and supplies more than 35 percent of the Danish consumption of liquid fuels. In addition, a corresponding quantity is exported via its own port terminal in Fredericia.
The company acts proactively in the green transition with a focus on taking quick steps towards utilizing both green hydrogen and more sustainable alternatives to fossil crude oil. Today, the refinery is the world's 3rd most energy efficient and Europe's No. 1. Among other things, Crossbridge Energy A/S is Denmark's largest supplier of surplus heat, which is delivered to the district heating network in the Triangle area. The excess heat corresponds to more than 23,000 ordinary households' annual consumption of district heating.
